Sporting Activities
Walking
Walks for all ages. Up Glen Shira (12m), and after an hour
you will see Rob Roy's ruined cottage, a gentle moorland walk to the Cruach
which is through the woodland behind the cottages, or go along the 3 miles
of loch shore (belonging to the owner of the cottages) and collect mussels
and winkles, or, for the more serious rock climbers, tackle the Trossachs
(the Arrochar Alps) just 19 miles away. Guided walking tours are available
at Strachur (4m).
